Introduction
The FastPay Mobile App is a financial services app developed by FastPay Global Payments Inc. for overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) in Taiwan. It provides a plethora of financial services to users, including but not limited to sending money, bills payment and mobile top-up.
The original version of the FastPay Mobile App launched in 2020. After joining the team in June 2021, I worked on many tasks related to improving the app's user experience. Beginning in January 2022, I was appointed to spearhead a complete UI redesign of the existing app, nicknamed FastPay Mobile App V2, with the goal of providing a more modern and visually appealing UI and restructuring multiple user flows to create a better experience.

Throughout the course of this project, I worked as the lead UI/UX designer with one assisting UI designer and one assisting creative visual designer. I also worked closely with multiple developers, project/product managers, business operations managers, and customer service staff to gather information, analyze requirements, tweak designs and provide feasible deliverables.
Our redesigned version of the app launched during March 2023. After that, I continued designing the user processes and UI for multiple new features and systems that were gradually implemented in the app. These included a brand new membership system, a missions system and a beneficiary/recipient management system. From when the project began up until December 2023, over 80% of the original UI was redesigned, and the user flows of 5 pre-existing major services were greatly modified, receiving a lot of positive feedback from users.
